Writing Articles

Posted September 20th, 2010

Books allow you to stretch out and take your time to say what needs to be said. Articles require you to get to the point quickly and make sure every sentence counts. An article allows me to quickly connect with a reader on a topic in which we are both interested.

I’ve written well over a hundred articles for a dozen sites including Apple’s ADC Website, ONJava and java.net. I’ve written monthly columns including the Core Java Technology Tech Tips and the Get a Life series. I’m also frequently asked to provide conference and keynote coverage. This began with coverage of JavaOne for JavaWorld Magazine and of Steve Jobs keynotes for The O’Reilly Network.
