Podcasting

I’ve been producing and hosting podcasts since I launched Distributing the Future for O’Reilly Media in 2005. Here’s a sample episode called A Brussels Walkabout. Since then I’ve produced podcasts for Apple, Sun Microsystems, Intel (internal only), and the Pragmatic Programmers.

Narration and Voice Work

I provide the voice for commercials, podcasts, show wrappers, audio books, documentaries, and television programs. I’m currently narrating the public television series Lifestyles with Rebecca. I’ve also worked on air in radio in a variety of formats including Smooth Jazz (WNWV), Adult Contemporary (WMJI), Urban Contemporary (WDMT and WZAK), and Album Oriented Rock (WERI).

I’ve produced conference coverage and provided an audio podcast of sessions for The Walt Disney Company, Mark Logic, the ACM’s OOPSLA Conference, the Web 2.0 conference, and for the Eclipse Foundation. I collaborated with photographer James Duncan Davidson on this ADC Developer Pavilion feature for Apple. My favorite might be this two minute story that I produced for the Public Radio Talent Quest.
